Ensuring our life skills, independence and employability programme is accessible to all is incredibly important to us. Whilst we receive no funding, we connect with companies who offer CSR, fundraise and are fortunate enough to receive donations from our supporters and community. This money funds scholarships and supported placements.
Each year we have 5 scholarships or supported placements for local adults with special needs who we feel we are able to support. The next scholarships will be available from November 2017 and last for 1 year. During that time, we strive to help the adult experience a range of transferable skills, work-based learning and upskill them in a realistic area that connects with their future employment vision.
If you are interested in finding out more and applying for a scholarship for a family member then please contact us. If you are a company interested in supporting a placement and seeing how we can work together, please get in touch.
