Theera:The Original Healthy Bake Room

Theera has been open for 4 years and has established itself as a successful bakery which specialises in gluten/allergen free and vegan desserts, breads and snacks. The founder and patisserie chef, Theeta ‘Uang’ Hotrakitya, discovered her autistic son had a severe gluten allergy and this fuelled her passion for baking into experimenting with allergen free ingredients.

Uang offers work experience opportunities for young people with special eduational needs and witnesses first hand the positive impact this opportunity has for the students. Her experience of running a successful coffee shop teamed with Max’s background in SEN promises to make a sustainable, engaging and fulfilling programme.

The majority of our products are organic and/or sourced locally. Both our coffee shop and training centre are eco friendly spaces where we try to conserve energy as much as possible as well as recycling all glass, plastic and paper.
